**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Registration Specialist based in the United States.**
This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient patient registration and billing data management within a healthcare environment. You will be responsible for maintaining high\-quality demographic and insurance records that directly support billing accuracy and revenue cycle operations. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Working in a fully remote setup, you will support a fast\-paced, 24/7 healthcare operation where flexibility across shifts may be required. You will regularly interact with patients, clinics, and insurance providers to resolve inquiries and ensure data integrity. This is a critical support role that helps maintain smooth operational flow across healthcare billing systems.
**Accountabilities**
* Enter and verify patient demographic and insurance information in practice management systems
* Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date patient records and billing documentation
* Respond to patient, clinic, and insurance inquiries via phone and written communication
* Research and resolve billing\-related issues while ensuring high\-quality customer service
* Support data integrity and follow established quality assurance and privacy protocols
* Collaborate with internal teams and participate in training and cross\-functional support activities
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, confidentiality standards, and internal procedures
* Assist with additional administrative and revenue cycle support tasks as needed
**Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
* 1\+ year of experience in medical registration and insurance billing processes
* Experience working with Washington State payers and healthcare insurance rules preferred
* Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare administrative procedures
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and providers
* Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast\-paced, remote work environment
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and healthcare or billing systems
* Strong problem\-solving skills and ability to resolve complex inquiries independently
