1. What CushyJobs is
CushyJobs.us ("CushyJobs", "we", "us") is a job-aggregation website. We collect publicly-available job postings from third-party employers and platforms, classify them, and display them on this site for users to discover and apply to externally.
We are not the employer for any job posted on the site. Applying for a job through CushyJobs takes you to a third-party career site or platform where the actual employment relationship (if any) is established between you and that employer.
2. Using the site
You may use CushyJobs to:
- Browse and search job listings
- Click apply links to external employer sites
- Sign up for email alerts about new listings
- Report fraudulent or low-quality listings
You agree not to:
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy listings or other content from the site without our prior written permission
- Submit false or misleading job reports
- Use automated tools to spam our alert subscriptions or contact forms
- Attempt to interfere with the site's security, performance, or availability
- Use the site or its content for any unlawful purpose
3. Listings are not endorsements
We work hard to verify every listing through our four-layer process described in our verification methodology. Even so, listings are pulled from third-party sources whose content may change after publication. We do not guarantee:
- That a job listed today is still open or accurate when you click on it
- That an employer will respond to your application
- That advertised pay, schedule, or benefits will match the actual offer made
- That a listing is free of misrepresentation by the employer
If you find a listing that violates our quality rules, please tell us or use the in-listing "Report this job" link.
4. No guarantee of employment
We do not match candidates to employers, vouch for individual applicants, or facilitate the actual hiring process. Use of CushyJobs creates no employment, contractor, or recruiting relationship with us.
5. Intellectual property
The CushyJobs site, brand, design, and original written content (including category descriptions, scam guides, salary research, and FAQs) are owned by CushyJobs and protected by copyright. Job listings themselves are the property of the original posting employers; we display them under fair-use principles for the purpose of helping job seekers find work.
If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, email legal@cushyjobs.us with details (URL, the work you own, and a statement of good-faith belief that use is unauthorized).
6. External links and third parties
The site contains links to third-party websites — most importantly the apply links on individual job pages. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Reaching out to or applying through a third-party site is at your own discretion.
7. Disclaimers
CushyJobs is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Use of the site is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CushyJobs (and its operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates) are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site — including any harm caused by acting on a fraudulent listing that slipped past our verification.
Our total cumulative liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to USD $100.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CushyJobs against any claim arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which CushyJobs's operating entity is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in that state.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
