What this policy covers
CushyJobs.us ("CushyJobs", "we", "us") operates a job-listing website that aggregates verified work-from-home job postings. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Email address, when you sign up for job alerts. We use it to send you the alerts you requested and confirm them via double opt-in. Never sold.
- Optional details in alert preferences (category interests, salary minimums, schedule preferences). Used only to filter the alerts we send you.
- Anonymous job-report content when you flag a listing. Used to investigate and remove fraudulent listings.
- Contact-form messages when you email us at any of our published addresses. Used to respond to you.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs — IP address, user agent, request URL, timestamp. Used for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics. Logs are retained for up to 30 days.
- Cookies and similar technologies, set by us and our analytics / advertising partners (see below).
- Anonymous engagement data — which listings get viewed and which apply links get clicked. Used to surface higher-quality listings; never tied to your identity.
Third-party services we use
We use a small number of third parties to operate the site. Each has its own privacy policy; we link them below.
- Vercel — site hosting and CDN. Vercel privacy policy
- Supabase — database hosting (jobs, alerts, reports). Supabase privacy policy
- Google Tag Manager — tag management (loads other analytics tags we configure). Google privacy policy
- Google AdSense — displays ads. AdSense uses cookies and the DoubleClick/IDFA identifier to serve ads based on user visits across this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google's ad settings.
- Anthropic Claude API — used server-side to classify job listings before they appear on the site. Your personal data is never sent to Claude — only the public job description text from the source.
How we use information
- To operate the site and provide the services you request (showing job listings, sending alerts you signed up for)
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and scam listings — including investigating job reports and rate-limiting suspicious traffic
- To measure how the site performs and which features people use, in aggregate
- To serve relevant ads via Google AdSense (when active)
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your email or any account data with employers, recruiters, or advertisers.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary — keep you logged in (when login features are added) and remember basic preferences.
- Analytics — count anonymous visits and measure site performance via Google Tag Manager.
- Advertising — Google AdSense uses cookies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out at google.com/settings/ads.
You can disable cookies in your browser. The site will still work but some features (like saved searches) may not persist.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we have about you
- Correct it if inaccurate
- Delete it (subject to legal obligations)

Data retention
- Email-alert subscriptions: kept until you unsubscribe
- Server logs: 30 days, then deleted
- Job-report submissions: kept up to 12 months, then anonymized
- Cookies: typically 30 days to 24 months depending on type
Children
CushyJobs is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please email privacy@cushyjobs.us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced via the site or email (if you've subscribed to alerts).
