Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Document Support Specialist I for a Contract job with a client in a Remote work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and experience working with documentation and portals, with the ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines.
Rate Range: $20/hour to $24/hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Document Support Specialist I job responsibilities include:
- Access customer utility portals to download utility invoices and billing statements.
- Run reports to identify missing, incomplete, or unavailable utility bills.
- Contact utility companies directly to resolve missing invoices, access issues, or billing discrepancies.
- Ensure all required documentation is collected accurately and processed on time to support bill payment cycles.
- Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to resolve documentation gaps.
- Follow assignments and priorities distributed by the Utility Outreach Team Manager.
- Maintain organized records of downloaded invoices and supporting documentation.
- Adhere to defined processes, timelines, and data handling requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Strong attention to detail and document handling skills.
- Comfortable navigating online portals and systems.
- Ability to follow instructions, manage repetitive tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for outreach to utilities and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Prior experience with billing, documentation, or administrative support is a plus.
