**Job Description**
The Ember Alliance is seeking a Digital Content Intern to support regular organizational communications. The Digital Content Intern will support TEA’s digital presence by maintaining and updating the organization’s website, leading the development of the monthly email newsletter, and overseeing social media platforms and creating regular, engaging social media content. The intern will work 10-20 hours per month. The duration of the internship starts at a minimum of 6 months with the opportunity to extend for up to 1 year beginning in May 2026.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and update The Ember Alliance website, including implementing critical bug fixes —with assistance available as needed— and managing ongoing content updates.
- Develop and oversee the monthly email newsletter, including writing and editing articles and managing the subscriber distribution list.
- Collaborate with program managers to develop, coordinate, and track the monthly newsletter and social media content calendars.
- Create and manage social media platforms including backend administration and content development 1-2 posts.
- Maintain and improve relevant SharePoint/Slack/Asana sites.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma, college degree underway
- Experience managing websites
- Experience managing monthly communication calendars
- Experience working collaboratively with other organizations on projects
- Experience managing social media
- Writing and editing skills
- Competent in using Microsoft Suite products including Excel, Word, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing a WordPress Website
- Experience with CMS systems, preferably MailChimp
- Experience utilizing Asana or other project management platforms

Schedule Requirements
The Digital Content Intern will work 10-20 hours per month on average, but the schedule may vary based on project needs.
