**Overview**
US\-based, globally facing education platform with programs geared toward K\-12 as well as technology oriented career certification programs is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic part\-time teacher focusing on English Language Arts (ELA). .
This is a part\-time job: classes are 30 \-60 minutes, 1\-4 days per week. (1099\)
Qualifications:
\- Confident, energetic, creative, and assertive enough to effectively engage middle school and high school students.
\- 1\+ years of teaching experience (if you have experience working with children in a school, camp or after\-school environment, this is likely a good fit
\- Bachelor's Degree or advanced coursework in English, Education, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on English Language Arts and pedagogy.
\- Capable of working independently and communicating via email and phone
\- Reliable high\-speed Internet access and a computer that can support video conferencing.
Candidate must be able to pass a background check
